Meet Our Lesson Horses and Ponies

Our lesson horses are carefully selected and managed to support safe, effective learning at every level. Each horse in our riding school is trained to teach correct fundamentals, confidence, and responsibility, and is matched thoughtfully to riders based on experience and goals.

He is best suited for beginner riders learning correct position, steering, and balance at the walk and trot. Pepper's steady nature and reliability make him an excellent partner for building confidence and foundational skills.

Dakota is a versatile lesson horse used across a wide range of rider levels, from developing beginners to more experienced students. She is well suited for flatwork, basic jumping, and cross rail courses, helping riders refine balance, rhythm, and control. Dakota's adaptability allows her to support riders as they progress through multiple stages of the lesson program.

Heffa is an experienced lesson horse best suited to riders focusing on strengthening flatwork and jumping skills. She confidently supports riders jumping courses up to .70m and rewards correct, effective riding. Heffa is an important part of the riding school, helping riders develop consistency, confidence, and precision as they advance.
