Full and partial training for horse owners and serious riders seeking structured development, professional rides, and long-term progress.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Roxbury Riding Club offers full and partial training programs designed for riders with their own horses who value consistency, correct fundamentals, and thoughtful progression. Training programs are tailored to each horse and rider pair, with an emphasis on soundness, rideability, and confidence both at home and in competition.

Our training program supports riders competing in hunters, jumpers and equitation, as well as those preparing to enter the show ring.

WHO THIS PROGRAM IS FOR

The training program is best suited for:

* Horse owners or committed leasers

* Riders seeking professional rides in addition to lessons

* Clients with competition goals or long-term development plans

* Riders who value structure, accountability, and clear expectations

* Horses requiring consistent training for confidence and correctness

This program is not designed for casual or infrequent riding.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

Our training philosophy prioritzes:

* Correct flatwork as the foundation for jumping

* Progressive, age-appropriate development

* Long-term soundness and rideability

* Clear communication between horse, rider, and trainer

We believe strong basics and consistent systems produce confident, competitive horses without sacrificing welfare.

SHOW PREPARATION AND INTEGRATION

Training clients may participate in :

* Local schooling shows

* Regional circuits

* A-rated competitions

Training programs are designed to support showing, but show participation is not required. Readiness is determined collaboratively based on horse development, rider goals, and overall consistency.
